We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team. This position performs scheduling services and administrative support to enhance the function of the assigned area(s) to provide optimal patient care and ensure a seamless patient experience.
Offering a dynamic work environment, with the option to work a hybrid schedule after the training period, provided required metrics are met.
Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) of the following preferred:
Post-high school education or vocational training in healthcare
Previous experience in healthcare or customer service
Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered
Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn other software as needed
Typing speed of 45 wpm is highly preferred
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a self-starter with critical thinking abilities
Ability to prioritize tasks and work both independently and as part of a team
Strong commitment to working in a team environment while maintaining confidentiality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism and diplomacy
Job Specific Duties:
Accurately schedule services per department protocol and assigned area(s)
Coordinate resources to ensure patients receive appropriate care at every interaction
Adhere to department policies and procedures while adapting to frequently changing operating standards
Maintain strong quality metrics as evaluated by department quality assurance programs
Consistently communicate professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy in compliance with HIPAA
Work efficiently under stress and during high patient volume or additional workload
Collaborate with assigned leadership and staff to maintain daily operations and complete tasks
Assist with cross-training and onboarding of new hires as necessary
Work cooperatively with other departments to ensure accurate scheduling of visits
Monitor access issues with provider schedules to ensure a positive patient experience

This position will provide support to all Logan Health Medical Center locations, ensuring consistent and efficient scheduling across all facilities.? This role is part of Logan Health's ongoing centralization efforts. As such, candidates should be flexible and adaptable, as the position location may be subject to change based on future clinic needs.*
Shift:
Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)
The position offers Monday to Friday hours, with shifts from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
